Sales on the Internet

I most recently published a book by a 14-year-old author. Since its publication, Wild Hearts, has generated 2600 hits on my site, but it only resulted in 19 sales of the book. As far as my site goes where I sell books for at-risk kids, I receive about 50-60 hits every two days, but absolutely no sales. Could someone please explain what I could be doing to generate more sales?
